- May 2021: The EHC is proud to sponsor the online conference World of Talent 2021, 16-18 June 2021
- November 2020: The EHC mourns the loss of Victor Müller-Oppliger
- June 2020: The EHC launches a Call for Creativity
- April 2020: The CoTalent project, of which the EHC is associate partner, presents new tools for teachers on talent development on higher education.
- April 2020: Due to the coronavirus crisis, the International Conference on Talent Development and Honors Education 2020 featuring CoTalent, is rescheduled to June 2021.
- December 2019: Call for proposals and registration for the International Conference on Talent Development and Honors Education 2020 featuring CoTalent, is now open. Discount for EHC members! The EHC will be present. Send in your proposal before January 15, 2020.
- December 2019: A list of finished European Ph.D. projects related to talent development and honors education is added to the publications page of the EHC website.
- September 2019: The EHC sponsors the International Conference on Talent Development and Honors Education 2020 featuring CoTalent, to be held in Groningen (Netherlands) from 10-12 June 2020. The EHC will be present at this conference and host some sessions. In addition, a discounted fee for the conference will be offered to EHC members.
- July 2019: The EHC is associate partner in a grant awarded in Erasmus+ Key Action 3 - Strategic Partnerships: Innovating STE(A)M in Higher Education with Transdisciplinary Talent Programs (STEAM+). Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen (Netherlands) is main applicant
- April 2019: The first article in the fifth issue of The Journal of the European Honors Council is now published
- January 2019: The Journal of the European Honors Council has published its fourth issue: a special issue on Good practices in honors education
- August 2018: The Journal of the European Honors Council has now migrated to Open Journal Systems and can be found on www.jehc.eu
- June 2018: The EHC presents itself at the X-Honours Congrestival in Leeuwarden, the Netherlands
- June 2018: The third issue of the Journal of the European Honors Council is now complete
- December 2017: The complete second issue of the Journal of the European Honors Council can now be downloaded.
- November 2017: The third edition of the EHC-sponsored Honors International Faculty Institute, to be held in Groningen (Netherlands) in June 2018 is announced.
- October 2017: The first constributions to the second issue of the Journal of the EHC are published.
- August 2017: The EHC is associate partner in a grant that was awarded by the European Union's Key Action 2 - Strategic partnerships program: Working in Europe to Connect Talent Development in Higher Education.
- June 2017: The Board of the European Honors Council met with the NCHC Presidency and a delegate from the Chinese cooperative honors network at the International Honors Conference at Windesheim UAS in the Netherlands. The EHC hosted four sessions at the conference.
- May 2017: The complete inaugural issue of the Journal of the European Honors Council has now been published online. It will be presented at the International Honors Conference at Windesheim UAS in Zwolle, the Netherlands on 8-9 June 2017.
- April 2017: The Journal of the European Honors Council is announced and the first contributions can be found here
- March 2017: The European Honors Council takes part as associate partner in two European grant applications, aiming at strengthening talent development in European higher education
- December 2016: The EHC takes the initiative to publish papers and notes, following the Utrecht conference Honours Futures. More details can be found here
- November 2016: The EHC Board visits Denmark and meets officials at the Ministry of Higher Education and Science to discuss talent development in Danish higher education. A longer report can be found here
- September 2016: The article Slow Shift - Developing Provisions for Talented Students in Scandinavian Higher Education by EHC board members Marca Wolfensberger and Maarten Hogenstijn, published in the open access journal Education Sciences (September 2016)
- June 2016: The brochure Honors in Europe: getting to work (English version) was published
